In 2023, the Säästöpankki Group launched the most extensive business development initiative in its 200-year history. The goal was to respond more quickly to customers’ evolving needs while seamlessly combining personal and digital service experiences. This was not only a major overhaul of the technology environment but also a broad business transformation that impacted both customer and employee experiences.

Taskmill Playing as a Key Player Critical Areas

Taskmill is a modern and trusted partner in the financial sector, with solid experience in demanding core system renewals and a deep understanding of the unique characteristics of banking operations. In Säästöpankki’s multi-vendor program, there was a need for skilled professionals in key roles, representing the bank’s strategic objectives and driving different workstreams forward with determination.

“We always tailor our training to the client’s needs. When a major program kicks off, requirements definition is often one of the most critical areas. In the workshops we ran for Säästöpankki, we produced concrete, high-quality specifications ready for the implementation teams,” explains Rasmus Ståhle, Organizational Coach at Taskmill.

Looking Ahead: Continuing the Partnership

The first production release of the program is already live, and further updates will be rolled out in phases. Taskmill’s experts have demonstrated flexibility and commitment by complementing Säästöpankki’s internal program organization in various roles, even taking on new responsibilities as situations evolved.
